The last two days were full of firsts:

  • Yesterday, for the first time, I got slightly tipsy happy on soju ^^;;; And I also had a really wonderful dinner with some of the people from my Korean class as well as with our teacher~ And I should probably watch Oldboy at some point

  • A bug that I filed was so important that it became a ship-stopping bug. ^^;; It was pretty impressive amazing considering how much some people really didn't want to consider it as one and how hard they fought...

  • I had my first driving lesson in lunch-time traffic today. It wasn't really that scary except for when people suddenly merged into my lane or came out of driveways. ^^;;; I still need to work on my steering and braking though... Anyone wants to watch me practice? xD

  • I went to Quiznos' for the first time today and had a very yummy sub~

  • I signed up for my first ever bike race, and to top it off, it's the annual Seattle to Portland cycling race, which is about 204 miles long and is almost exactly a month from now. Time to start cycling to the place where blobs live somewhere hilly and far away. ^^;;

  • I finally got myself _________ ________ ____ (check my profile) >.>

Especially a basket of kittens (consider, for example, my Gmail display name) ^_^ Though I can't claim to be as cute as a basket of kittens. ^^;;

I think the second and third verses would be somewhat difficult to sing, even for someone who could sing at a high pitch (which definitely isn't me :P). And there aren't that many pauses for breathing, too...

This song is also unique in being one of the few (or possibly the only one) on this album that has only a piano as accompaniment. Nearly all the other tracks start off either with more than one background instrument or introduce others during the course of the song. I also don't believe that this song is a cover, though I only searched superficially on Google and Live Search for its lyrics.

I also found out that Silje Nergaard has her own website, and that she's working on a new album... and that she's had eight albums released since 1990. I wonder how many of the older ones are still available for purchase...

Her journal also seems interesting. Definitely something to read. I was somewhat surprised to hear that she's changed quite a few of her band members, though...

We've already completed a tour of Norway this Autumn and a mini tour of Holland and Belgium. We presented seven new songs that we're going to record for our new CD this March (to be released in February, 2007). This was a tremdendous experience for me.

Trivia - This is the list of instruments (excluding vocals, obviously) used on this album:
