Concert aftermath
Oct. 21st, 2006 02:13 pmThe concert was very good! The first half was "Plays Bach", including the famous Air on a G String and the Brandenburg Concerto no. 5 in D major. The second half featured a very interesting interpretation of "Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons and featured a drum solo. The final piece was an arrangement of Bolero for the trio. Jacques Loussier mentioned before the piece that Ravel (a fellow Frenchman :P) had composed it for a full-scale orchestra with at least 150 people, and "although we are only 3 people, we will still play this piece as well as those 150!"
But I was sick this morning. >_< I feel somewhat better now though, even though I didn't go to the doctor, by sleeping for some time. I hope I'll be able to recover in time to fly tomorrow.
