nyankoframeThere isn't an easy way to say this, and I don't feel like beating around the bush.
I was one of the people laid off last Thursday from Microsoft. It was a huge shock and, honestly, something neither me nor my boss had seen coming.
I have a LOT of friends who have offered support, links to recruiters at other companies (apparently Amazon is hiring like crazy) and a shoulder to lean/cry on. To all my friends, THANK YOU.
There are also some resources (severance package, help with resume reviews and so on) which were provided, which is nice.
For now, back to updating (basically re-writing) my resume and sending it out.

* How did you contribute to the company (saved money/earned money/added X new customers, etc.)
I haven't yet gotten to the interview part. :P
