If you get anything like this in your email inbox, do not open the link or download the "ecard plugin"! It's a virus/trojan that will compromise your computer and do other nasty things to it.

Just to add that ecards.com has also been impersonated, and in place of "school mate", I've also seen "colleague" or "friend"...

Guess the safest thing to do is to check if the URL given starts with "www.hallmark.com" since it'd be highly suspicious otherwise...

Yeah, I've also seen several other greeting card websites being impersonated since the time I posted this (including bluemountain.com). These are really dangerous so your userpic makes a lot of sense.

I've had a swarm of these, including those from 'secret admirers', 'worshippers' and 'school friends'. Except most of them don't even remotely remember me.

And I didn't know that I was worth the worshipping.
