The day in short~

Today was pretty much uneventful, apart from the fact that I said I would leave at 9:30 and ended up leaving closer to 10:30 ^^;;;

The main highlight was a celebration party in downtown Bellevue, which I went for and had a lot of fun at. I found out that I apparently can make some difficult/tricky shots in pool (such as pocketing balls from various angles), but sometimes I can't even get simple shots right. ^^;;; There was also a karaoke machine, and there would've been prizes for the first person to sing, but..I didn't feel up to it. ^^;;;; Maybe next time, though~

After that, it was back to work until about 8 or so, when I decided to take a break and come back.

Tomorrow is going to be the first day of Korean classes. I'm worried nervously optimistic about how it'll go. ^^;;;;

But first, dinner time~ (Which means my last piece of turkey T_T)

I wish I could have gone, but I thought I had a meeting until it was postponed, but by then it was too late and half the team had left for the event. t.t

And a colleague of mine showed up around 4, but still had a lot of fun there~

I'm not usually that good ^^;;; And I blame it on playing pool way too much when I was in Singapore

And I'm not sure it would have been a good idea for you to go for karaoke, not that your voice is bad, but you still need practice and pointers. :p

Hope you'll like Korean although I still wonder about your interest in that language.

I'm not completely out of food, but I'm out of turkey. :P And it's good too in that I can move next week with an empty fridge...

I think all amateurs are like that with pool, actually--getting some tricky ones but missing easy ones.

Enjoy Korean class! Language classes are fun! And it won't be too hard on the first day.

We have on occasion, but aren't in the habit of it. We played once with a couple friends of mine, but they were taking it more seriously than we were and that made it less fun.

I also think you are underestimating the distance between us. :P
