I'm in Seattle!

No, I don't have Internet access at my apartment yet (I need to arrange that on Tuesday Monday, and I'm currently at
itsacz's house stealing his internets), and I don't have a means of transportation. I'm planning to buy a bicycle today or tomorrow, though. That'll help quite a bit with getting around, though obviously not on interstates or freeways. ^^;;;
The flight from Singapore to Narita, and subsequently from Narita to Seattle, was largely uneventful. One of the only two major events that happened was at Narita where I hadn't changed any money to yen (because lavalyn told me that the Internet access was free), and then found out that the terminals charged 100 yen for 10 minutes. Oops XD It wasn't that bad, though, as I spent the time listening to music on my MP3 playerbut not on my noise-canceling headphones which I'd left behind and which I'm getting only next week when my aunt comes.
The other was at Seattle-Tacoma airport, when I was delayed about 20 minutes because the officers on duty weren't sure what to do with a H-1B1 visa.It seems that this visa category confuses everyone from travel agents to CBP officials...
I've been having a really great time with
itsacz so far today ^^ And we're going shopping~
It's still somewhat boggling that it can be 4:40 pm when my body thinks it's really 8:40 am, but I'll get used to it... eventually. I hope.
