Canadian capers and stuff~

In other news, I went to Vancouver last Saturday on a day trip with some friends, and it was, for lack of a better word, awesome.

On Sunday, I went to a friend's place for a barbecue lunch. Even though it was raining, he still went ahead with the BBQ, and it was surprisingly good. I enjoyed myself a lot there and felt like I had a good weekend overall.

This week's been quite busy with work and new responsibilities as a result of the review feedback that I'd gotten last week in addition to some things that were completely unexpected, which is why I'm really glad that I'll be going on vacation tonight for 8 days. :D I'm really looking forward to meeting haplo3k and fusilliban for the first time, as well as meeting relsqui and testing4l again in Boston. And then after that I'm going to New York for 6 days to spend time there with another friend of mine and visit some relatives.

I have a feeling that it's going to be an exciting week ahead. ^^
