It could possibly explain why some conservative people (within the US and elsewhere) make the statements they do about homosexuality using the political arena.
However, since this is K5, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. Though getting a +1 FP (front page) for it probably means it makes some sense. :-)

I was going through the comments, and the two most recent ones (as of now) deal with the issue of evolution and the concept of a scale of sexuality. Really interesting to read (even if a bit long).
