And there was much rejoicing on this day

As the following happened, in no particular order:

• Got my laptop back. (after 24 days!! <3)
  
• Bought a new monitor for the desktop, so I get to use the old one when it behaves (which seems to be very rarely).
• Ate a very nice (dark/fried) carrot cake at Bedok hawker centre, together with a nice Kopi C, with a friend and her sister.
  
• Borrowed a pair of monitor-type headphones from the same friend, to whom and for which I am very grateful because it'll not only help me do a better job of editing the concert tapes but also listen to music in peace.
  
• Went for an interview for a part-time job, and even though I haven't gotten a reply yet, I'm fairly sure that I'll get the job.
