Free vs Sponsored+

Comparison
Sponsored+ (S+) brings more to the table than Free. So why am I sticking with Free? Because I don't want to have a blog/journal with ads. At all.
It already annoys me that viewing other S+ users' info pages means that I have to see ads. Why should I force anyone else to see them on my own pages?
Yes, I know I could suck it up and get a paid account (after first getting a debit card and then figuring out whether that'll be accepted).
No, I don't believe it's meaningful at this time, since there isn't really anything more that I want or need from getting a paid account. I don't need more userpics, more storage space, a photo gallery/scrapbook that I won't use, the ability to post remotely, voice posts (that don't work unless you're in the US) or any of that.
In my opinion, LJ should split up the "paid" account type into several categories. Let the people who want to have all the extras have them and pay more per month. Let those who don't want ads anywhere on the site (since using an ad-blocker is now illegal) but don't want extra features have that option instead of having to stick with Free accounts and still see ads on some journals and in some places.
Frankly, I'm disappointed. But I'll live.
