I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journal, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and, heck, that's downright exciting to me!

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Even if I know you really well - take this opportunity to tell me something. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes to bite her toenails while riding public transportation."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Then post this in your own journal.

(And if you've newly friended me, why not introduce yourself?)

Something other than "I am llama!!!"

Something like "I sing, and I have lots of pets" and stuff..

Silly llama

I don't know... anything?

Maybe "things you should say to llama to buy insurance from her" or "things not to say to llama if you haven't made your will yet" or "what kind of pedestal would you want?"

:P

LOL just kidding, I just told llama not to do that rofl!

If you have to remember one thing about me.. uhm... here..
"I'm not A bitch, I'm THE bitch, and that's REVEREND BITCH to you!"

I think that'll cover ya :)

Yes ma'am *salute*

Oh wait, this isn't the army. But it will be next year! (I'm not really looking forward to it because most of the people whom I know already left)

Sometimes when it's really quiet, I make up songs. I usually sing them in my head, but sometimes I sing them out loud and they usually have the same tune (which isn't really much of one).

We just got our piano tuned, and I may be getting to take lessons soon. My first love was my piano teacher in the 8th grade(of course he was flaming gay!). I used to make myself sick if I hadn't practiced because I wanted to please him so badly. I cried and begged my parents to let me move in with him when we had to move when I was in the 9th grade. My piano teacher said I could. I get to see him this summer. I'm so excited.

I love doing word puzzles and crosswords. :)

I wish I could make you smile, because you make me smile everyday. :)

I wonder if you take part in karaoke competitions?

Yay for piano tuning! I still haven't gotten around yet to it but I suppose I should before the end of the month otherwise it'll be a problem when my duet partner wants to come over and practice. :P My piano teacher was an interesting person, she certainly had the qualifications (LTCL, etc.) but .. I can't put my finger on it but there was something I found not quite agreeable about her. And it was a long time ago (~10 years), anyway.

I'm pretty bad at crosswords and puzzles myself, but I don't mind looking at them and trying to solve them.

Some random puzzles I picked up from another person's blog:

Puzzle 1 (http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2005/07/04/435286.aspx)
Puzzle 2 (http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2005/07/04/435287.aspx)
Puzzle 3 (http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2005/07/04/435288.aspx)
Puzzle 4 (http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2005/07/04/435289.aspx)

Hmm . . . Let's see . . . Well, I like playing my MMORPGs and I love ramen! Both the instant kind and the kind you can get in a restaurant in the US. Haven't been to Japan to eat it there, though. I hope to . . . someday. I'd love to go to their Ramen Museum to try all sorts of ramen. =)

I wouldn't be surprised that they have a ramen museum in Japan, considering they invented it :P

What's the difference (if any) between instant ramen and the kind that you find in a restaurant? (and does it appear on the menu as "Ramen" or as "Japanese noodles"?)

Well, it's actually quite different in terms of texture. Restaurant ramen is firmer and, well, much better for you. =P And it's got a better texture; kinda like al dente spaghetti. Instant is . . . kinda mushy sometimes. It's ok, but it's really high in sodium, etc. Basically, anything and everything that'll raise your blood pressure. XD I eat so much of the stuff anyway that I'm convinced I'm gonna die at 25 from a heart attack just 'cuz I eat so much of the stuff. =P

Haha...well, things to not say to me if you haven't made your will yet... one would be to tell me there's something I can't do because I'm too short. I hate hearing that. >_>

So does that mean I can say that after I've made my will? (kidding :P)

I don't think you're that short, to be honest.

I get excited when I see pregnant women in public, because I don't think I see enough to justify population growth rates.

Heh. So I suppose you're happy that Britney Spears might be having twins? :P

(I should introduce you to CL, who did an internship at a government ministry and was involved in organizing fertility seminars and encouraging women to have more children, among other things)

Er, no. I guess I phrased that wrong. I'm not happy about the population growth levels, and I don't think people need to be encouraged to breed, BUT - with levels as they are, I wonder where all the pregnant women are hiding! So when I see one, I'm like, "AHA! I found one!!"

That's a different story then, you had me worried for a bit.

Maybe you can host a investigative journalism-type show "Where are they now" :P

uh... I'm the other linux nerd from IRC. I also know Java quite well. I guess those are the two major things we have in common.

Other than that, I guess I could be remembered as "the redneck".

Technically, I'm not a linux nerd, in fact I don't even use it unless I have to , being a Windows/pro-MS person and all. :P

I'm not a very big fan of Java either... but still, it's something we have in common, besides friends that is.
