Flooded out (and back)

My room is somewhat dry now.

But it wasn't like that about 5 hours ago, when there was 4 inches of water covering the floor in all 3 bedrooms. I don't even want to remember how long it took to get the water out.

How did it happen? Not post-exam party related I hope...

The drain above our flat was blocked by a 4-inch leather ball. That, together with a really heavy thunderstorm, caused water to enter through the false ceiling.

We also got various things including bits of other peoples' hair and various "fun" things. :P

I'm so sorry! That sounds awful! It reminds me of when we were first moving into this house. The dishwasher leaked and flooded the kitchen and warped all the floor boards we had just put in. We had to do it all over. -_-

I'm sorry that you're sick. You really need to find a way to get some more rest. :(
