Got back the results of the practical exam... 20.0 marks (out of 20, I assume). Wow. I mean... that's a big boost to my confidence, especially since I was so damned nervous while actually doing the exam, kept thinking that I'd screw up.

That's the reason for the song, btw.

Got back the results of the second lab, which I was sure I would do poorly in because I made quite a few careless mistakes.

Unfortunately, I didn't -- do poorly, that is. I somehow managed to get a score of 20/20 for the first part and 17/20 for the second, plus 3/5 (I think, since the TA didn't give a total mark) for the bonus question, making a total of 21.2/25 (40% * first part + 60% * second part + bonus), giving 84.8%.

If I can maintain this, it shouldn't be too difficult to do well for the practical exams.
