Thinking of getting a paid account

So it costs $43 per year (converting using the Universal Currency Converter).
I don't know whether it's really worthwhile, seeing as how they only encourage either credit cards or international money orders in US funds (from FAQ #21):
Additionally, our bank has informed us that we can no longer accept checks from countries other than the United States and Canada. International users should first try paying by credit card. If this is not possible, or if your credit card is not accepted, you will have to obtain an international money order in United States funds.
And now I'm working on an S2 style, but I can't change the comment links. Le sigh.
