Rethinking social media presence

 So, I've been neglecting this journal in favor of being active on Facebook, Twitter and to a lesser extent Instagram. But Facebook isn't what it used to be and Twitter is, well... *screams in eldritch horror*

I'm thinking I might still use Facebook for quick updates, and maybe sign up for Mastodon (if I can find an instance that I like - a friend of mine is thinking of starting her own instance named "<dog> fan club"), but do long-form musings or random stuff here.
