I forgot to draw the curtains when sleeping last night, so I woke up around 7:15 am. ^^;;; But I went to sleep around 11:15 pm, which is really early for me, so perhaps that balances out. I kind of felt that it wasn't really a deep sleep though, since I was actually vaguely aware of shifting positions a few times... But I actually slept pretty well.

I received an e-mail around 4 am this morning informing me that my visa application's been completed and it's being couriered here for my signature and action. I'm not entirely sure when it'll actually get here (perhaps this evening / tomorrow / Monday), but the earliest I'll be able to do anything will be Monday in any case. Meanwhile, my packing and house-searching efforts are slowly under way (of sorts XD), so hopefully all the pieces will fall into place soon. I still don't know exactly when I'll be leaving, though...

Next week promises to be very busy, so I may not be around as often as I have this week. One other reason will be the Nodame Cantabile anime series (based on the manga/live-action) that aired yesterday. ^_^

Yes, this time, I didn't sing an anime, game or J-Pop song. Surprising, isn't it?

Lullaby of Birdland is one of the classic jazz songs and it's been covered by various artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, both of whose voices I like. Alas, I'm not a girl, so you'll have to deal with my crappy manly neither-here-nor-there voice. :P

Lullaby of Birdland

The instrumental for my recording is by George Shearing, and thus it features a particularly long improvisation in the middle (which also accounts for the length and the file size :P). I can't do jazz (or any other kind of) improvisations, so.. ^^;;

The levels should be okay, as far as I know. Enjoy~
