Shine a light into the darkness
Aug. 27th, 2006 09:19 pmThis song was obtained from
pengie via her meme here. :)
It's very touching (even though I haven't read the lyrics or a translation of them), but perhaps that is because of the melodies in the song and the way they're constructed. It is also probably because of the singer, who has a very strong voice and a wide range. :P
Next week looks like it will be very busy and physically draining at camp. At the same time, my relatives from Sri Lanka are here for a few days, and for my aunt and cousin, this is their first visit to Singapore in a long time (it's my cousin's first visit ever, and her first overseas flight/visit, while my aunt last came to Singapore about 20 years ago). Because of that, I may not be around online very often, but I will try to check e-mails before I leave for camp in the morning whenever I can.
There's also something that is troubling me very much, and I don't know whether I will be able to get it off my chest without hurting people, especially one person in particular who is a good friend but from whom I feel that I've become somewhat distant. I suppose I can only worry about that when or if that time comes instead of worrying myself so much about it now. But I hope that I will be able to talk to that friend of mine again soon without hurting her...
I will most probably be back (as in around most of the time) on Saturday. Have a good week, everyone! :)
