(no subject)

First day of university orientation, and it went off well. I met quite a few old classmates and other people I knew, and a lot of new people. Most of them are about my age, though some of them are younger, and I think there's one guy who's about 30 or so. ^_^;;; I collected three welcome bags and they are *heavy*, but have a lot of useful stuff - files, lecture pads and notebooks, etc. There was this cool Attack of the Clones bag, along with a Star Wars notepad and an Apple one, plus lots of other useful stuff like a thermal flask and several packets of instant noodles ^^;;

Planning to buy the laptop tomorrow, which I took a look at today. $3199 for Pentium 4 1.6 with DVD/CDRW sounds good, and it comes with a built-in network card for campus access. There are other things I need to do though, like attend the welcome ceremony and stuff. Will post more later, I'm too busy having fun and relaxing now to write. ^_^
