My laptop's cooling fan has died, and now I'm waiting on the Toshiba service centre to call me when they have the fan in stock so that they can replace it. The replacement takes about 3 or 4 hours to complete, according to them.
No word on whether this is covered under the warranty or otherwise, but in the meantime I'm back to using the desktop... which means I may not be around much.
