paul: You can see who's online and send messages to your contacts. And if you're offline they can send messages to you and it arrives as a SMS.

cl: Last time you couldn't sign up for MSN Mobile in Singapore (to see your contact list), you could only provide your contact number (which meant that people could send messages to you)

Forgot to mention that now you can also receive alerts about new Hotmail messages, as well as check your inbox. :-)

erm no. i could recieve alerts about new emails but disabled the service because it was not too useful for me
