Today, while going to my optician to send in my glasses for new lenses, I decided to take some pictures on my journey. This is the result. :P




So named because this canal has a certain distinctive smell, and on occasion, it looks like tea. ^^;;


The visit to the optician was pretty uneventful (I have to go back on Thursday to collect my normal frame with new lenses), but on the way back, I had an opportunity to test out the "kids & pets" scene mode of the camera. :P

He noticed my approach and started moving (hence one of his paws being slightly off the ground). I was fortunate to take this shot, though. ^_^



He moves through the grass so elegantly~


Yes, I am in love with those cats, and I'm going to miss them when I go.

And finally...




I'm wearing my old pair of glasses which are about 5-6 years old. :P


I feel that I must say this: Cats are all sophisticated ladies and gentlemen, or Aristocats \o/

If it makes you feel any better, there is no shortage of cats in the US. A friend of ours has suggested that there is an unwritten law in Seattle that every bookstores must have a cat hanging around.
