Xiaxue hacked

More details including link

I think more than anything, this illustrates the importance of the following:

a) choose passwords wisely and as far as possible, don't re-use passwords
b) Keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer - considering the kinds of posts that she has made in the past, as well as her personality, I'm not surprised that this happened. That doesn't mean it was a good thing, though. Losing 3000 mails = ouch

edit: Apparently wonkytong was hacked by (possibly?) the same person. Rumor has it that a wireless sniffer was active during the bloggercon last week.

That's evil. o_O No matter who the person is, that would be a horrible thing to have happen.

One of my friends had her email hacked once, and whoever hacked it used it to send viruses to everyone on her contacts list. It's a good thing I didn't get one because I probably would have opened it without second thought since it was from a friend...scary stuff.

Trusting llama. *brief snicker which is abruptly cut off*

Or maybe llama's email box is guarded by alpacas, emus, chinchillas, Parns, baskets, guinea pigs, angels, greyish looks, etc. which prevent any viruses and spam from getting in. :P
