Oh, X...

chibi_nasu, and I forgot to exclude X from the list of valid letters. Oops. ^^;;;
Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. After, post this in your journal, and give out some letters of your own. Let me know if you want a letter.
1. (The) X Files - because it focused on the supernatural, and the awkward romance between Scully and Mulder was really one of the major factors that kept me following it devoutly through 5 seasons (before it stopped airing on TV here).
2. X (the anime) - I admit it, having an anime series called "X" definitely piques my curiosity, even if I've not watched the series... And I would love to buy it!Does that count as loving it? :P
3. X-rays - because having them is always fun, especially when you get taken to the X-ray room in a wheelchair. ^_^;; Even better is when you get to see your own X-rays afterwards!
4. Xmas (Christmas) - because it's a time for exchanging gifts and generally looking back at the year that passed and what went well and what could be improved. And it's also a time for reflection on a more personal level.
5. X (the letter) - It connotes a sense of mystery and uncertainty. "X marks the spot", for example.
6. (Chemical) X - Who could fail to like the Powerpuff Girls? ^_^;;
7. X Window System - This may be slightly out of place given my views overall, but I like X for its vision of network transparency in terms of drawing operations and applications. That may not be a good thing if everything is running locally, but at the same time it's essentially something like RDP or VNC done first, and applications don't need to be modified to detect whether they're running locally or remotely (because it's all the same).
8. Xylophone - I loved playing them when I was small and hearing the "tinkle-tinkle" noise that they made. And it's especially fun to hit something with padded sticks. ^_^
9. X chromosome - because the sensitive, caring and loving guy is the new trend :P No one really wants to like full-blooded jocks any more.
10. XX (not in its erotic sense!) - because people love each other, and sometimes you really don't need to express it to your partner in long, elaborate descriptions when just a simple "XX" will do.
I actually had quite a lot of fun coming up with words that I liked in this case. But I'm not going to be evil and give anyone letters like 'Q', 'X', 'Y' or 'Z'. :P

1. (William) Bolcom - I love him "just" because he's a ragtime composer and composed (among other pieces) the Graceful Ghost rag and [secret]. 'Nuff said. :P
2. Beauty - I like people who are beautiful. Not necessarily in the physical/"loaded" sense of the word, but people who are beautiful inside too. Sometimes, more so than people who are physically beautiful :)
3. Bond - Both the musical group and James Bond. Both are good in their own ways. :)
4. Bewitched - I loved that show when it was on TV! Especially for its premise and some of the really funny things that happened during episodes.
5. Beethoven - He wrote a lot of nice piano music, including the Moonlight Sonata and Pathetique, among others.
6. Barenaked Ladies - I was first introduced to them bykarmaforone back in 2001, and again more recently by some other people who have LJ accounts but shall remain nameless for now. I love the music of theirs that I've heard, especially One Week, Pinch Me and Powder Blue. :P
7. Bananas - They're a good source of potassium and glucose, especially when you haven't eaten breakfast or don't have time to.
8. Boxer shorts - They can be very comfy for walking around the house or relaxing while playing the piano, although I certainly wouldn't wear them when going out. ^^;;
9. Bottles - You can store things in them. You can mount miniature ships or wood sculptures in them. You can blow into or over them and make music. You can use them to defend yourself. What's there not to like about bottles?
10. Blue - Even though it's not really a "guy" colour, I like various shades of blue such as pastel or baby blue, up to midnight and navy blue. In fact, my Vista theme right now is a somewhat dark shade of blue. ^_^
