In no particular order:

Today was my last exam for this semester, and I'm glad it's over. While the build-up to the exam wasn't particularly eventful, the exam itself was quite hard, and a lot of the questions (especially the multiple-choice ones) were tricky. I almost ran out of time, but I'm glad I managed to finish the paper. I don't know when the results will be out yet, but I think it'll be somewhere in December.

I also received an e-mail regarding my internship, confirming that I start work on Thursday (December 1st). I'm really looking forward to it, both as a way to gain experience on the job and an opportunity for me to broaden my horizons. I definitely need to get a haircut today though.

Finally, there may be something on the horizon as far as playing partners go. I can't confirm anything yet, but some people are looking out to see what can be done.

My exam is at 1 pm, not 9 am like I thought.

... And I don't know why I thought it was at 9 am to begin with.

My last exam for this semester is on the 29th of November at 9 am for CS3255. I think this exam will be interesting, both in terms of preparation and the actual material that can be covered.

Today's exams were pretty interesting, especially the programming exam in the morning. I had a lot of fun writing code, and I hope it was correct. :P

The exam in the afternoon on project management was interesting in a different way as almost nothing of what we had studied for came out, except in small places. A lot of the questions were also worded trickily and sometimes needed to be read more than twice to be fully understood.

But at least there wasn't a lot of statistics.

I am a bad, bad, bad driver )

In other news, my first exam went reasonably well and I was able to answer all the questions in time. I'm more worried about the next two, though.

My last exam was today, and I think I should be able to score well for it. We'll have to wait and see...

... as the results will be out on December 25th at 9 am. ?!!!

I'll probably post a longer entry tomorrow.

But overall, this semester has been pretty intensive, and for some reason I find myself to be more lazy than usual when it comes to studying...

Right now, I am nuahing and not really studying as yet for my last paper (CS3244: Machine Learning and Neural Networks, this Thursday evening from 5pm-7pm)... I have a longer entry that I want to post, but it will have to wait for a while.

Interesting, my first and last exams are both open-book... and having 4 exams in one week will be rather interesting.

In other news, I'm rushing the 3240 report, which needs to be finished by tomorrow. ^^;;;;

I just finished my last paper ^^ It was very tricky, but I still think that I can get at least a B- for this module.

My expected results )

Results will be out on the 18th of December.

I finished my first exam (CS2102, Database Systems) today. It was fairly tough, but I think I can get at least a B- or B for this module, which will help greatly in qualifying for honours (yay!).

Anyway, just a quick question to those who know ([livejournal.com profile] phoenixjean, and anyone else): when is the deadline for registering for next year's ABRSM exams? I hope I haven't missed it. ^^;;;;

... it's holiday time!

Will be a fairly busy holiday period though, with all sorts of stuff going on. ^^;; But I'll try to get rid of the eyeshadow that's threatening to become permanent. =P

Just finished the 2250 paper. =) Next up is 1104 on Monday. But for now I'm happy. ^^

Yay ^_^;; 2301 is now over, but I'll miss the lecturers, especially since their lectures were fun (the most appealing of all my modules this sem IMO).

Still have 2250 on Saturday and 1104 on Monday to deal with, but for now I'm probably going to go home in a bit and drop asleep for a while. =P
